In January 2027 the Dakar returns to Africa. Team Rally POV sets off from Paris, rides every kilometre of the Dakar and arrives by bike at Lac Rose, in Dakar: the real one. A journey told every day.

Team Rally POV's will not be just a Dakar. We wave goodbye to the lights of the capital, ride every kilometre of the 2027 Dakar and arrive by bike at Lac Rose (the Pink Lake), in Dakar, where for twenty years the original Paris-Dakar came to an end.
A renewed project and a tireless team, ready to put you in the saddle with us: from the first kilometre beneath the Eiffel Tower to the finish coordinates written on the logo, 14° 50′ 19″ N, 17° 13′ 50″ W.
The journey
Three chapters, a single route.
Paris, the Dakar, Lac Rose. First the transfer on and off road to the start in the Algarve, then the 7,824 km of the Dakar from the Algarve to Marrakech, and finally the descent along the Atlantic coast to Dakar. All on RoadBook, drawn with Rally Buddy.

1. From Paris to the Algarve
We wave goodbye to the lights of the capital. On and off road, across the Pyrenees and Spain, to the start of the Dakar, all on RoadBook thanks to Rally Buddy.

2. Dakar Rally 2027
All 7,824 km of the Dakar, from the Algarve to Marrakech: Tiziano's seventh Dakar, in the Original class, without assistance.

3. From Marrakech to Lac Rose
Along the coast to Dakar, with a brief foray into the dunes of Mauritania. We arrive by bike at Lac Rose.
Back to Africa
After twenty years the Dakar returns to Africa.
This year the race will not be held in Saudi Arabia: the 2027 Dakar starts from the Algarve, in Portugal, crosses the Mediterranean and arrives in Marrakech, an edition that, after twenty years away from the African continent, will leave its mark on history.
Start from the Algarve Stadium in Loulé-Faro, rest day in Agadir on 17 January, bivouacs between Bouarfa, Zagora, Agadir and Smara, finish in Marrakech.

What we do

Rally POV was born to tell the story of the Dakar from the inside. In 2027 the story begins before the start and ends after the finish: every day, on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, with the formats that in 2026 brought millions of people to the bivouac.

Since we will finally be crossing some of the countries that helped write the legend of this dream called the Dakar, during this journey we will donate 10% of all Rally POV revenue, whether it comes from sponsors, partners or crowdfunding.
We will not always do it through existing associations, but on the road, without filters, depending on who the universe puts in our path: a small gesture to bring a smile to the continent that lit this passion inside us.
The bike
Eva, the first Ducati in history at the Dakar.
We make the journey with Eva: a Ducati Desmo450 EDS turned into a rally bike, unveiled at the Dakar stand at EICMA 2026 with the number 93. In almost fifty years of the race's history, the Ducati brand has never lined up at the start: in 2027 it will happen for the first time, in the Original class, without assistance.
